Dear Master Students,
We are looking for a motivated PhD student interested in solid-state physics and quantum nanoscience to work on an exciting project in our section «nanotech@surfaces» at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa) in Dübendorf, Switzerland.
The successful candidate will study atomic quantum emitters in 2D materials using STM/AFM STM luminescence and eventually ultrafast THz-STM.
Prior experience with scanning probe systems is a plus but not strictly required.
